Why should I hire private transportation service?

In Los Cabos,there are many public transportation options but when you arrive, there is no guarantee your contracted company will be there to meet you.Many drivers may not speak English, the company might not be a licensed, and their vehicles could be older and in disrepair.

What transportation options do you offer?

We offer private luxury SUVs, limos, Vans, Mercedes Sprinters, and coach bus services.

What is a private ride?

A private ride is private car service, meaning you will not be asked to share a vehicle with other travelers.

Where should I meet your driver when I arrive at the airport?

Terminal 1

Once you have cleared customs and collected your bags, please proceed to the sliding doors to the right that say “Pre-Arranged Transportation/Groups.”Once outside the terminal, please look for The Cabo Airport Shuttle agents located in the Ground Transportation Welcome Area. Our driver will be standing with a “The Cabo Airport Shuttle” sign to provide proper meet and greet service, and to direct you to your vehicle. One complimentary drink per person is included in your arrival transfer. You may also reach us by dialing our local number (624) 133 9426.

 Terminal 2

Once you have cleared customs and collected your bags,  please proceed to the sliding doors to the right  outside the terminal. Please look for The Cabo Airport Shuttle Uniformed Agents wearing Yellow blazers or coats (winter) located in the Ground Transportation Welcome Area who will be standing with a “The Cabo Airport Shuttle”sign, to provide proper meet and greet service, and to direct you to your vehicle. Do Offer Grocery Stop Service?

Our drivers will be more than happy to take you for groceries to any the supermarkets such as Walmart, Mega, Costco etc. on the way to your hotel/Villa. This service must be reserved in advanced and has a charge of $40/hour.

What happens if my flight is delayed? 

We monitor all flights arriving at SJD International Airport. As the estimated arrival time for your flight approaches, our system automatically updates your reservation with any changes to your arrival time. You do not need to call us if your flight is delayed. You do need to call us if your flight information changes (e.g., if you are bumped to a different flight or you miss your flight).

Will your driver help me with my luggage?

Yes, our courteous drivers are always happy to assist you with loading and unloading your luggage and other items you are carrying.

Do you serve any cities outside of the Los Cabos area?

We offer services from the SJD International Airport to La Paz, Los Barriles, Todos Santos and Loreto. Private Service is required.

What’s the average travel time from (and to) SJD Airport to my Hotel/Villa?

Travel times will vary depending on where you are staying, as well as traffic impacting the traveled routes. On average, the travel time to Cabo San Lucas is 45 minutes, to the Corridor 35 minutes and to San Josédel Cabo 25 minutes. Please take into account, that you should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure for international flights. The Cabo Airport Shuttle is NOT responsible for late arrivals or departures.

Why are departure pickup times so early?  

To ensure you make your flight, we follow the Department of Aviation guidelines for airport departure times. We also try to account for delays due to weather and/or heavy traffic.

Reservations

How do I make transportation arrangements with The Cabo Airport Shuttle?

For your convenience, we offer a buy online option for one-way or round trip transfers. Please use the Reservation Request Form on our home page. Once this is processed, you will receive a transfer voucher with confirmation and instructions,as well as telephone numbers and pick up time.

If you are booking one way only, choose the “from the airport” option on the reservation form. If you are booking transportation for both departure and arrival airports, book the Round Trip Transfer. You will then be given the option of booking services within Los Cabos Area.  When you get to Los Cabos Aiport, just present your printed confirmation to our driver.

How can I change my reservation?

To change a reservation, please click on the Manage Reservations link in the left side book box. You may also use Live Agent Chat or contact Customer Service by visiting the Contact Us page. Please have your reservation number ready.

How can I confirm my return trip to the airport?

Please use our Live Chat box or you can email us at Reservations@TheCaboAirportShuttle.com. You can also use our Contact Us page to give us a call. Please have your reservation number ready.

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

We suggest reservations be made once you have your flight confirmation or at least 24 hours in advance. For last minute reservations, please our local number  (624) 1339426 or from the US (714) 941-0630 and we will do our best to confirm your required Transfer services.

Do you provide child safety seats in your vehicles?

Yes. We can provide free of charge car or booster seats and can guarantee that each vehicle will be properly equipped to secure your child’s car seat. Car or booster seats must be requested in advance in order to secure availability.

Do you have a lost and found department?

Yes. Please contact our customer service department by calling our local number  (624) 1339426 or from the US (714) 941-0630.You can also e-mail us at Reservations@TheCaboAirportShuttle.com between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. MST. While The Cabo Airport Shuttle is not responsible for any items that are lost or left in our vehicles, we will do our best to help you locate any lost items.

THE CABO AIPORT SHUTTLE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT IN THE VEHICLE, LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED LUGGAGE (INCLUDING CONTENTS). IMMEDIATELY NOTIFYING THE DRIVER OF ANY LOSS WILL PROVIDE THE BEST CHANCE OF RECOVERING LOST ITEMS.

Rates & Billing

Are your rates the same as the taxi in the airport?

Our rates are lower than a taxi, since we do not pay expensive airport booth and parking fees. Also, our vehicles newer, which require lower maintenance costs,which allows us to pass on the lower costs to our customers.

How can I pay my hired Services?

Once you have selected your service,you can pay via the Pay Pal credit card processing systemthrough our Web Site. Once your payment is received we will immediately send you a Transfer Voucher with confirmation and instructions.

Note: Charges for credit card transactions through PayPal will appear as “The Cabo Aiport Shuttle” on your credit card statement.

Can I pay for services when I arrive to the SJD Airport?

Yes.You can pay the driver with cash. Transfer rate discounts will only apply when paying Private Round Trip Transfer.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 2-hour notice to change or cancel your reservation. If you cancel less than one hour before your scheduled pick up time, we will charge a 50% cancellation fee.

Are Tips included  for your drivers and airport agents?

Tipping is optional. Quality service is customarily acknowledged by a gratuity of 18 –20%.

How can I get a refund?

Online Sales are FINAL. However, you may call us or speak to an online representative and request a refund if you have a legitimate reason.

Do you have ADA accessible vehicles?

Yes, this service is available for 10-16 passenger vans with rear removable seats. Traveller will ride in a van’s regular comfortable OEM seat.

Is there a luggage limit?

There is no luggage limit, as long as the luggage can be accommodated inside the type of vehicle reserved. An additional private vehicle will have to be reserved for other items that are not considered a suitcase such as bicycles, skis, large music instruments (i.e. cello, tuba,…)

Can we reserve transfers for groups & weddings?

We gladly provide transportation services for incentive groups, weddings and conventions. Our services include: Round Trip Airport Transfers, transportation within Los Cabos area and Todos Santos, such as rehearsal dinners, restaurant dine-outs, activities and golf.
